Animation Research

The Black Bantu Animation Library is a Story Development and Research department that strengthens creative projects through authentic cultural insight, narrative accuracy, and strategic world-building. With experience across more than 20 countries in Africa and the Middle East, we bring deep regional expertise across the transmedia value chain—spanning series, comics, and video games—positioning Black Bantu as a leading voice of African storytelling on the global stage. Integrated from the earliest phases, the Library supports clients from concept validation to the creation of research-driven story bibles and ensures coherence throughout production.

Starting from €5,000, clients can begin by sharing a brief or idea, launching a discovery phase that transforms concepts into compelling, production-ready universes.

/// IT Infrastructure

for Creative Studios

In an era where technology evolves every

3 months instead of every 2 years, Black Bantu helps studios rethink their IT strategy to stay

agile, scalable, and cost-efficient. Through our partnership with GCC Financial, we provide access to a global ecosystem of over 90 data centers—originally engineered for high-demand environments such as Olympic-scale

streaming—covering storage, AI integration,

data management, and content monetization.

We enable studios to balance creativity

and technology with flexible, cloud-based infrastructures that adapt to production needs, reduce upfront costs, and unlock new revenue streams.

Start by sharing your current pipeline

or challenges, and we design a tailored, future-ready infrastructure that empowers your studio to create, scale, and compete globally.

04

/// Game Art

Black Bantu delivers high-quality Game Art driven by strong artistic direction and authentic storytelling. Rooted in one of Africa’s pioneering gaming ecosystems—launched in Senegal in 2012 and expanded to the UAE—we bring over a decade of experience observing, shaping, and redefining game narratives across the continent, from government-backed initiatives to indie studios. From character design and environments to UI and visual development, we create immersive worlds that reflect diverse cultural identities while meeting global industry standards.

Our flexible, scalable approach integrates seamlessly into your production pipeline—simply share your concept to start building distinctive, globally relevant gaming experiences.

05

/// Localization

& Transmedia

translation

Based in Saarbrücken at the crossroads of Germany, France, and Luxembourg, Black Bantu offers expert localization and translation services for film, audiovisual, video games, and comics. Working across German, French, and English, we go beyond translation to ensure true cultural adaptation—whether for subtitling (optimized readability), dubbing (perfect lip-sync and emotional tone), or voice-over. In gaming, we specialize in full localization: adapting dialogue, humor, and references to create immersive player experiences while respecting technical constraints and UI limitations.

Rooted in a transmedia approach, we help studios, producers, and publishers seamlessly adapt their stories across markets and formats, making content culturally relevant and globally impactful.
